These Palette knives are blunt with a slightly flexible steel blade. They are used for applying and mixing paint colours, paste, pigments, and so forth. Between the handle and the blade there is a large crank, to keep the artist’s hand off the paint surface. These knives come in a multitude of styles, shapes, and sizes.
